Hi, I'm Niina

I’m a passionate special education teacher and, most importantly, a devoted mum to two wonderful deaf children. One of my children also lives with selective mutism and autism, which has given me a unique perspective on the joys and challenges that come with raising children with additional needs.

Through both my professional work and my personal journey, I’ve come to truly understand how overwhelming it can feel for families navigating special education, therapies, and everyday life. I know what it’s like to feel uncertain, isolated, or unsure of where to turn for guidance and I also know the difference it makes to feel supported, understood, and connected.

My mission is to walk alongside parents who are on a similar journey. I believe no parent should have to face these challenges alone. By combining my lived experience with my expertise as a teacher, I aim to offer encouragement, practical strategies, and a safe space where parents can feel more confident in themselves, more connected to their children, and more supported in their role.

I’m here to remind families that while the road may be different, it can still be full of growth, connection, and hope.

Thriving Through the Storms (Group Coaching and 1:1 support)

This program combines supportive group coaching with the option for personalized 1:1 guidance. You’ll receive 2 x 60-minute sessions with Niina, where you’ll identify an individualized goal, create a practical action plan, and discuss the best resources to support your family’s journey.

Thriving Through the Storms (Group Coaching only)

This 6-week online course is for parents of children with additional needs who want to move from overwhelm to calm, while building stronger connections, practical skills, and self-confidence. Each week combines self-paced modules, live group sessions, community support and hands-on activities to support both you and your child. By the end of this course, you’ll feel equipped, supported, and empowered to create a calmer, more joyful family life.
